Armchair Puzzles is a free, large-print word-search site made for unhurried, comfortable play. No accounts, no clutter, no timer — just a fresh puzzle each morning and all the time in the world to enjoy it.

Easy on the eyes, by design

Most word-search sites cram tiny grids onto busy, ad-heavy pages. We do the opposite. Every puzzle is genuine large print — the letters in the grid are the biggest text on the page, set on a warm, glare-free background — and a one-tap A / A+ / A++ control makes everything bigger still. It’s built around how eyes actually read: high contrast, generous spacing, and never color alone to signal what’s happening. If small print has started to feel like a strain, this is the word search made for you.

Calm, not a competition

No clock counting down, no streak scolding you, no pop-ups breaking your concentration. Play right in your browser, or print any puzzle to solve with a pen at the kitchen table. The whole site is meant to feel like a quiet armchair — somewhere to slow down, not speed up.

Armchair Puzzles is free, and we will never make you create an account to play. Your progress and your comfort settings stay in your own browser — nothing to sign up for, nothing to remember. If you’d like a puzzle in your inbox each morning you can opt in, but it’s entirely optional.
