Accessibility
Easy on the eyes, by design
Accessibility here isn’t a setting you have to find — it’s how the whole site is built.
Large print, always
The letters in the puzzle grid are the largest text on the page, and the A / A+ / A++ control at the top makes everything bigger still. Every puzzle is the same comfortable grid size, so the cells stay big and clear — harder puzzles, never harder to see.
Clear and calm
Generous spacing, a gentle palette, and high-contrast text that meets the WCAG AA standard. We never use color alone to show what’s happening — found words and progress are always shown in more than one way.
Play your way
Play right in your browser, or print any puzzle to solve with a pen at the kitchen table. No timer, no clutter, no sign-up — take all the time you like.
What we’re still improving
Full keyboard play of the grid is in progress — for now the grid is played with a mouse or touch (drag across the letters, or tap the first and last). If that’s a barrier for you, we’d genuinely like to know.
