About The Letters of Paul

Paul wrote by lamplight and dictation, from rented rooms and prison cells, to communities he had founded or longed to visit. His letters traveled the Roman road network by foot and by ship, read aloud to small gatherings who passed them from hand to hand. In those words, grace, peace, faith, a young church found its footing in a wide and uncertain world.
