About Backyard Birds
A cardinal drops onto the feeder in a flash of red, a hummingbird hovers electric at the blooms, and somewhere deep in the yard a woodpecker starts its sudden drumming. All of it just outside the window. Backyard Birds gathers word searches built from that world: the seed-seekers and the songsters, the jays with their bold opinions, the crows that seem to know too much, the hawks riding thermals overhead, the owls that take over once the light goes. Spring migration brings a wave of arrivals; summer settles into familiar visitors; dusk belongs to something altogether different. Pick whichever corner of that world is calling to you, and take your time with it.
