About High Card, Low Card

Every deck tells a quiet story of hierarchy, the king and queen holding court, the jack ready to upset them, and the joker lurking at the edges of the hand. Card ranks carry centuries of tradition: the ace began life as the lowest card and gradually claimed the throne at the top of nearly every game. In gin, poker, euchre, or a lazy round of war at the kitchen table, the rank of the card in your hand is everything.

How to play

    Find a word.Tap its first letter, then tap along to its last. The trail fills in and finishes itself when it spells a word. Or press the first letter and drag.

    Words run in straight lines.Across and down, and on the harder difficulties diagonally and backwards.
