About Mind & Trivia

From the copper folds of Lady Liberty's robe to the quiet gleam of the Gateway Arch at dusk, America's national landmarks are places where history stops being a page in a book and becomes something you can stand inside. The Liberty Bell's famous crack runs right through the word "Pennsylvania" cast in its bronze, and generations of visitors have pressed close just to see it. Mount Rushmore's four faces were carved from Harney Peak granite in the Black Hills of South Dakota between 1927 and 1941, a feat of patience and dynamite that still draws awe on a clear day.
