About The Red Carpet

Opening night in Hollywood's golden era was a spectacle unlike anything else, limousines gliding to the curb, flashbulbs popping like a lightning storm, and gowns that seemed sewn from moonlight. The marquee blazed the star's name in lights while fans pressed against the velvet rope, reaching for an autograph on anything they could find. It was theater before the theater even began, a whole drama played out on a strip of crimson carpet under the California sky.
