About The Commercial Break
Saturday morning TV in its golden era ran on the rhythm of the commercial break as much as the cartoons themselves. A talking tiger sold frosted flakes, a rabbit chased kids for their cereal, and a jingle could lodge itself in your head for decades. Some of the most memorable moments happened not during the show, but in those two breathless minutes of puppets, prizes, and the promise that this toy was the one you absolutely needed.
