About Motown Legends

From a little house in Detroit they called Hitsville, Berry Gordy built a sound that crossed every divide — the Supremes in their gowns, the Temptations' footwork, Smokey's velvet voice on the radio. For a few short years Motown seemed to make the whole country dance to the same beat. This puzzle gathers the labels, the legends and the city that gave soul music its polish.

How to play

    Words run in straight lines.Across and down, and on the harder difficulties diagonally and backwards.
