About Hollywood Canteen

On a corner in Hollywood, a converted livery stable became the most glamorous servicemen's club in the world. Stars like Bette Davis and John Garfield founded it, and on any given night a GI might find himself dancing with Betty Grable or collecting an autograph from Humphrey Bogart, all for free. Beyond the Canteen, the studios threw their full weight behind the war effort: war-bond drives, morale-boosting shorts, and pin-up photographs tucked into kit bags from the Pacific to the Atlantic.

How to play
