Hung above a diner door or a motel office, these signs were landmarks you navigated by, their steady buzz audible on a quiet night through an open car window. The craft peaked in mid-twentieth-century America, turning every main street into a gallery of glowing script, arrows, and starbursts that no photograph quite captures the way memory does.
How to play
