About The Green Bean Casserole

Few dishes earn a permanent place on the Thanksgiving table the way green bean casserole has. Created in 1955 by Dorcas Reilly in Campbell's test kitchen, it was built around just a handful of pantry staples, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and those famously crunchy fried onions on top. Decades later, the smell of it bubbling in the oven is still one of the surest signals that the holiday has truly arrived.

How to play
