A free Los Angeles Lakers word search, printable and ready to play, with the purple and gold from Minneapolis to the Forum.

About The Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers began in Minneapolis in 1947, and the lakes in the name never made much sense once the team moved to Los Angeles in 1960. They played at the Forum in Inglewood, where the 1980s teams ran the fast break so smoothly that people called it Showtime. Plenty of living rooms still have a radio tuned to the game, and a few have a faded purple jersey hanging by the back door.
