The Putt, a free, large-print word search on golf's quietest, most nerve-filled moment: reading the green and rolling it home.
About The Putt
Everything on the golf course, the long drive, the crisp iron, the delicate chip, is really just prologue to this: the putt. Standing over the ball on a smooth, closely mown green, a player reads the break, feels the speed of the grass underfoot, and makes one slow, pendulum stroke. The ball curls along its line, loses speed at exactly the right moment, and drops. That soft rattle in the cup is one of the most satisfying sounds in all of sport.
