About A Day at the Beach
Something is quietly perfect about a beach day, the slow drag of a wave pulling pebbles back into the sea, the smell of sunscreen warming on skin, the way a sandcastle turret catches the last afternoon light before the tide comes in. Deck chairs tilt at comfortable angles, coolers hold sweating lemonade cans, and a kite tugs at the end of its string somewhere overhead. The shoreline keeps its own clock, and the only schedule that matters is the rhythm of the surf.
