About Ireland

Ireland is a land that wears its weather like a mood, low clouds rolling off the Atlantic, silver light breaking suddenly over a patchwork of fields stitched together by ancient stone walls. Villages cluster around a church steeple and a pub with a painted door, where fiddles start up without ceremony and strangers are pulled into the conversation before their coats are off. Beneath it all runs a deep Celtic current: in the Gaelic script above the shop fronts, the carved spiral of a standing stone, and the bog that has kept its secrets for thousands of years.
