About Gold Rush Days

When gold was discovered at Sutter's Mill in 1848, word spread like wildfire and tens of thousands of hopeful men and women flooded California's Sierra Nevada foothills. They came with pickaxes and tin pans, worked icy mountain creeks from dawn to dusk, and founded towns that went from empty meadow to raucous main street in a matter of weeks. The landscape they crossed, granite canyons, sun-baked gulches, and rushing snowmelt streams, shaped the whole mythology of the American West.

How to play
