About Many Mansions

In one of scripture's most consoling passages, Jesus tells his disciples that in his Father's house there are many mansions, rooms made ready, a place already set aside for each soul that makes the long journey home. The image has carried generations through grief and uncertainty, painting eternity not as something distant and cold, but as a dwelling warm with welcome. There is a gate, a reunion, and at last a rest that needs no end.
