About The New Jerusalem

In the closing vision of Revelation, a city unlike any on earth comes down out of heaven, its walls built of jasper, its streets laid with pure gold, its twelve gates each fashioned from a single pearl. A river runs from the throne at the city's heart, bright as crystal, and the tree of life stands along its banks, its leaves offered for the healing of nations. There is no sun, no moon, no temple set apart, the Lamb himself is the light, and the faithful dwell in that glow forever.
