About The Talents

Jesus told of a master who, before setting out on a long journey, called three servants and placed his wealth in their hands — each according to his ability. Two of them went out and put their coins to work, doubling what they had been given. The third dug a hole and buried his in the earth, letting fear hold him back. When the master returned and called them to account, the faithful ones heard words that have echoed across centuries: "Well done, good and faithful servant."
