About The Percolator
Long before drip machines filled kitchen counters, the stovetop percolator was the heart of the morning. Water heated in the bottom chamber, rose through a hollow stem, and rained down over the grounds again and again until the coffee deepened to a rich, dark brew. The whole process was visible, the glass knob on the lid flickering with amber, and the burbling sound alone was enough to pull anyone from sleep.
