About Homemade Fudge

A batch of homemade fudge begins with nothing more than sugar, butter, and cream in a heavy saucepan, stirred patiently until the mixture reaches that glossy, ribbon-pulling stage. Poured onto a marble slab or into a cool pan, it sets into smooth, dense squares that taste of deep cocoa and toasted walnut. For generations, fudge has been the centerpiece of holiday tins, church bazaars, and lazy Saturday afternoons in the kitchen.

How to play
