About Cacti
A cactus asks almost nothing of you — a sunny ledge, a little grit in the soil, and the patience to let weeks pass between waterings. In return it offers architecture that no other plant quite matches: geometric ribs, silvery spines arranged in perfect starbursts, and, when conditions align, a flower so vivid it seems borrowed from somewhere wilder. From the towering saguaro of the Sonoran Desert to a compact barrel cactus on a bright windowsill, cacti carry the feel of open, sun-bleached space into the quietest corner of a room.
