About Water Lilies

A water lily lives two lives at once, roots anchored in cool mud below, blossoms open to full sun above. The broad, waxy pads shed every droplet in a silver bead, keeping the leaf perfectly dry no matter how still or how rippled the surface. At dawn the flowers open; by late afternoon many draw their petals back in, as though saving something precious for the morning.

How to play
