About Brushes & Paint
A good brush is a remarkably personal thing, painters often keep favorites for decades, worn to a perfect point by ten thousand strokes. Paint itself carries its own quiet chemistry: pigment ground into oil, water, or acrylic medium, each mixture pulling light differently across the surface. The palette, the glaze, the final coat of varnish, every step has a name, and learning those names is half the pleasure of picking up the craft.
