The Palette: a free online word search

The palette word search puts you inside the painter's world, where hue sits next to shade and the whole vocabulary of color is waiting on the grid.

About The Palette

A palette holds more than paint, it holds possibility. Every color you mix begins as two separate puddles nudged toward each other, the brush coaxing them into something neither one could be alone. A warm cadmium nudging toward a cool cerulean becomes a hundred different greens depending on how far you lean; a touch of white lifts a shadow into a luminous tint. Learning to see the difference between a hue, a tone, and a shade is one of those quiet revelations that changes how you look at the whole world around you.
