About Christopher Columbus

In 1492, Columbus set out from Palos de la Frontera, Spain, with three small ships and a crew of about ninety men, trusting steady trade winds to carry them across an unknown stretch of ocean. For more than a month the Atlantic rolled beneath them, no sight of land, no chart that reached this far west, until a lookout's shout on October 12 changed the world. What Columbus called the Indies were islands the rest of the world had never mapped, and that first landfall opened a century of exploration unlike anything before it.

How to play
