About Marco Polo

In the late 13th century, a young Venetian merchant crossed deserts, scaled mountain passes, and threaded through the bazaars of Persia and Central Asia to reach the court of Kublai Khan, a journey of nearly four years. The Silk Road he traveled was not a single road but a web of caravan routes linking China to the Mediterranean, carrying silk, pepper, jade, and ideas across thousands of miles. Marco Polo's account of his travels, dictated from a Genoese prison, gave medieval Europe its most vivid picture of the Far East and fired the imaginations of explorers for centuries to come.

How to play
