About Rocks & Minerals

Beneath every hillside and riverbed lies a slow, ancient story written in stone. Granite cooled deep inside the earth millions of years ago, while delicate quartz crystals grew in pockets of pressurized water and mineral-rich fluid. A geode looks plain on the outside, crack it open and you find a hollow lined with sparkling amethyst or calcite, a small wonder that has been forming, unseen, for tens of thousands of years.

How to play

    Find a word.Tap its first letter, then tap along to its last. The trail fills in and finishes itself when it spells a word. Or press the first letter and drag.

    Words run in straight lines.Across and down, and on the harder difficulties diagonally and backwards.
