About The Five Senses

Every waking moment, the body is quietly translating the world into experience, the warmth of sunlight on skin, the low rumble of a distant storm, the bright spike of lemon on the tongue. Five distinct systems gather these signals and carry them inward, where the brain weaves them into a single unbroken picture of life. Scientists have marveled for centuries at how elegantly each sense is tuned: the eye catching a single candle flame miles away on a clear night, the nose detecting a trace of smoke from far across a field.

How to play

  1. 1
    Find a word.Tap its first letter, then tap along to its last. The trail fills in and finishes itself when it spells a word. Or press the first letter and drag.
  2. 2
    Words run in straight lines.Across and down, and on the harder difficulties diagonally and backwards.
  3. 3
    It marks itself.Each word you find takes on its own soft colour on the grid and is crossed off the list.
  4. 4
