About Gerry and the Pacemakers

In 1963 Liverpool was sending bands down the road to London faster than anyone could count them, and Gerry and the Pacemakers were right near the front. Brian Epstein managed them alongside the Beatles, and George Martin produced their records. Their first three singles all went to number one in Britain, and the Mersey ferry, shuttling commuters across the river between Liverpool and Birkenhead, ended up in one of the most loved songs of the era.

How to play
