About The Frontier Town
Every TV Western worth its spurs planted its drama squarely in the frontier town, that one wide, sun-baked street where the bank stood across from the saloon and the sheriff's office anchored the whole precarious peace. The blacksmith's forge rang out alongside the creak of the boardwalk, and the depot at the edge of town promised both trouble and salvation on every arriving train. From Dodge City to Tombstone, these tight little settlements were the whole world of the story, dusty, vivid, and bristling with possibility.
