About The Harvest Moon
Every autumn, for a few evenings near the fall equinox, the full moon rises so close to sunset that farmers once worked on into the night by its amber light alone, no lantern needed. That moon climbs low and slow across the sky, holding its warm copper color far longer than an ordinary full moon, painting haystacks and cornfields in shades of gold and shadow. The air turns crisp, the first frost settles on the stubble, and somewhere in the dark a barn owl lifts silently off a fence post and vanishes into the glow.
How to play
