About The Headless Horseman

Washington Irving published the story in 1820, in The Sketch Book, and set it among the Dutch farms along the Hudson near Tarrytown, New York. It's a tale of harvest tables and ghost stories told by the fire, and then a long ride home through the woods past the old church. Disney gave it a second life in 1949, pairing it with Mr. Toad and letting Bing Crosby sing and narrate the whole thing.
