About Jack-o'-Lanterns

Every October, front porches across the country fill with the warm amber glow of carved pumpkins, each one as personal as a signature. The ritual is unhurried: scoop out the pulp and seeds, trace a grin or a grimace, then press a candle inside and watch the flickering light bring it to life. On Halloween night, that glow is a kind of welcome, steady and orange and somehow always a little spooky.

How to play
