About The Spring Garden

That first morning back in the garden, when the ground has finally softened enough to take a trowel, has a quality all its own. The beds need clearing, the compost wants turning, and somewhere under last year's mulch a bulb has already decided to get on with things. It's not glamorous work, but by the time the borders are edged and the first seeds are sown, there isn't much that feels better.
