Somewhere in almost every home there is a cabinet, a hutch, really, where the good china waits in careful stacks, wrapped in flannel or nested in velvet-lined boxes. It comes out once, maybe twice a year: the rimmed soup bowls, the gilded charger plates, the crystal goblets that catch the candlelight and throw tiny rainbows across the tablecloth. Setting that table is its own quiet ceremony, a way of saying that the people gathered around it are worth the best you have.

How to play
