About Winter
Snow falls overnight and the yard is a different place by morning: the hush that settles with it, the scramble for sleds and mittens, the satisfying crunch underfoot before anyone else has walked through it. This collection lives in all of that: the lopsided snowman taking shape on the front lawn, the sting of a well-aimed snowball, the long glide of a steel blade across ice, and then, finally, the slow warmth of coming back inside, fireplace crackling, the cold world locked safely outside the window. Even the birds that stay through the cold months find their way in, along with every scarf, hat, and bundled layer that makes it possible to be out there at all. Pick a puzzle that calls to you and take your time with it.
