About Baseball Cards
For a lot of kids, summer meant a nickel or a dime at the corner store and a wax pack with one flat pink slab of gum inside. You flipped past the checklist and the duplicates hoping for a rookie, then took the pile outside to swap on the stoop. The best ones went into a shoebox under the bed, rubber-banded by team, and some of those boxes are still there.
