About The Umpire

High in the tall white chair, the umpire watches every point with absolute stillness, then speaks, calm and clear, into a hushed stadium. A single word, "Fault," "Out," "Deuce", lands like a stone on still water, and the whole crowd leans with it. For more than a century that voice has been the unshakeable heartbeat of the game.

How to play

    Find a word.Tap its first letter, then tap along to its last. The trail fills in and finishes itself when it spells a word. Or press the first letter and drag.

    Words run in straight lines.Across and down, and on the harder difficulties diagonally and backwards.
  3. 3
