About The Pittsburgh Steelers

Before 1972 the Steelers had never won a playoff game, and then came the Immaculate Reception and a decade nobody in Pittsburgh has stopped talking about. Mill town Sundays meant a radio on the porch and a Terrible Towel twirling in the stands, while a defense made quarterbacks look for the exit. Four Super Bowls between the 1974 and 1979 seasons turned a lovable loser into the team everyone else measured themselves against.
