About The Medal

At the Olympic Games, the medal ceremony is the moment every athlete dreams of, the hush of the crowd, the anthem rising, the weight of a hard-won disc of metal settling around the neck. Gold, silver, and bronze have marked the top three finishers since the 1904 St. Louis Games, though gold medals today are actually made of silver coated in gold. The laurel wreath that once crowned ancient Greek victors still lives on in the medal's design, a quiet thread connecting modern champions to the athletes of antiquity.

How to play
