About The Maritimes

The three Maritime provinces sit along the Atlantic edge of Canada, and the sea decides most things there, from the workday to what's for supper. In the Bay of Fundy the tide climbs and falls by dozens of feet twice a day, leaving boats sitting on mud one hour and floating the next. Evenings often end in a kitchen with a fiddle out and someone stepping a jig on the linoleum, a pot of chowder still warm on the stove.
