About Monument Valley

Monument Valley sits on the Arizona and Utah line, inside the Navajo Nation, and its sandstone towers rise out of a flat red floor like furniture in an empty room. John Ford first filmed here in 1938 for Stagecoach, and he kept coming back for years, mostly because nothing else in America looks like it. Drive the dirt loop at sunset and you'll understand why a man with a camera never wanted to leave.

How to play

  1. 1
    Find a word.Tap its first letter, then tap along to its last. The trail fills in and finishes itself when it spells a word. Or press the first letter and drag.

    Words run in straight lines.Across and down, and on the harder difficulties diagonally and backwards.
