About Critters in the Yard
The yard goes quiet in the afternoon, then comes alive again at dusk. A squirrel makes one last dash to bury an acorn; an opossum lifts the compost lid with practiced ease; and somewhere along the fence line, a skunk ambles through without a care in the world. These unhurried visitors follow the same routes night after night, leaving tiny tracks in the mud as their only signature.
