About The Lion
The story of Daniel in the lions' den is one of Scripture's most vivid, a man of unbroken prayer cast into a pit of great cats because his faithfulness made enemies of those around him. King Darius spent a sleepless night fasting, unable to eat or rest, and ran to the den at first light with a trembling voice. When Daniel called back from the darkness, whole and at peace, the stone was rolled away and an entire kingdom glimpsed what it looked like for a man to be kept by something stronger than iron claws.
