About Mount Sinai

Mount Sinai stands at the heart of one of the most awe-filled moments in all of Scripture, a peak wrapped in fire and cloud while the people trembled in the camp below. It was here that Moses spent forty days on the heights, and the voice of God gave shape to the covenant that would define a nation. The mountain is widely identified with Jebel Musa in the southern Sinai Peninsula, a site of pilgrimage and reverence across Jewish, Christian, and Islamic tradition to this day.
