About Nazareth
Nazareth sits in the hill country of lower Galilee, a small and unhurried town cradled by limestone ridges with views stretching toward Mount Carmel and the valley below. In the first century it was a modest village, a place of workshops, olive groves, and a weekly rhythm shaped by the Sabbath and the synagogue. It was here, Scripture tells us, that Jesus grew up in the household of Joseph the carpenter, learning the smell of fresh timber and the weight of a chisel before he ever stepped into the wider world.
