About Easter Sunday

Easter morning arrives in the hush before sunrise, when dew still clings to garden flowers and the world feels poised on the edge of something extraordinary. At the heart of the day is the ancient proclamation, "He is risen!", the words passed from mouth to mouth, lighting faces the way a single candle lights a dark cathedral. Lilies crowd the chancel, incense lifts with the music, and the great Alleluia, silent all through Lent, rings out once more with full-throated joy.
