About The Market Basket
A particular pleasure comes with arriving at a farmers market with an empty basket and leaving with it full, garlic tucked against leeks, a bunch of radishes still damp from the field, and a little bouquet wedged in at the side. The wicker basket has been a market staple for centuries, its open weave letting air move through so the produce stays crisp on the walk home. A good stall vendor will lay your change right on top, tuck your herbs in a twist of paper, and send you off with enough for the whole week.
How to play
